For a first-time home remodeler this ‘90s design relic was a bit intimidating. Defining their needs and wants helped narrow the design direction to a soothing, textured interior with a more restrained take on color throughout, creating luxurious interiors.  Guiding the high end residential interior design was an incredible art collection, including a print of John Lennon’s handwritten “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and black and white images of celebrities.

Cloaking almost every surface in a warm taupe grasscloth wallpaper created a warm atmosphere and helped camouflage poorly installed drywall drywall, a common issue solved through high end interior design. Every item installed played a role in making this house a home. The light fixtures play a supporting role to the incredible art collection by casting ethereal shadows and the blue rugs contrast the warm tones of the wallcovering to create a tonal harmony.
